The Chord ShawlineX Analogue interconnect is a ground breaking cable in this price range, sharing many of the characteristics that made the Sarum Tuned ARAY such a special cable. There’s the same sense of dynamics, timbre, rhythm and detail that will turn a hi-fi system into a musical system. The Shawline Analogue cable produces that wonderful sense of involvement and ease of listening that only ARAY design cables bring.

For Tuned ARAY cables to work, every aspect needs to be millimetre perfect. Hand building is crucial to the complexity of the design. Using a Tuned ARAY design within the Shawline interconnect enables us to offer you a product at a price that allows it to be matched with surprisingly inexpensive components. The ShawlineX conductors are built from silver-plated multi-strand oxygen free copper, insulated with high performance XLPE. The unique shielding has been designed to work across a wide frequency range and reduce mechanical interference, and is fitted with silver-plated Chord VEE 3 RCA plugs with XLPE insulation. 

The Tuned ARAY conductor configuration has been designed to improve the ShawlineX interconnect’s capability of carrying a musical signal coherently. The conductors are contained within a specifically chosen outer jacket to ensure flexibility and to further reduce mechanical noise. The ShawlineX Tuned ARAY interconnect is extremely transparent and carries signals with a high degree of accuracy. This cable will help you to enjoy your system at its musically coherent best. The ShawlineX range features Chord’s latest Tuned ARAY technology and comprises RCA, DIN and XLR analogue interconnects, RCA, BNC and USB digital interconnects and a complimentary speaker cable. All connectors feature silver-plated contacts.

 

ShawlineX RCA cables are turntable-ready as standard. Also available with flying earth leads.

Fitted with Chord VEE 3 ChorAlloy™plated RCA plugs and available in 0.5, 1m, 1.5m, 2m, and 3m lengths with custom lengths/terminations to order including tone arm and mini-jack options.
